PressForward.org has developed the PressForward plugin, available for use on WordPress sites. PressForward is a project developed by the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media, a non-profit research center, and, as such, has no financial interest in gathering or selling your personal information.

We do, however, have interest in collecting information, limited to the URL of your site, for the purposes of  improving the plugin and satisfying the terms of the grant awarded for its development. When using the plugin, you have the option to agree to the collection and use of that information in accordance with this policy. We will not collect any information without users’ express consent.

Beyond the opt-in report of your site’s URL, PressForward does not collect, record, or track your site or activities that take place on your site or within PressForward.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of October 31, 2017 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.

We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of PressForward after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
